Erik
Jeremiah
February 28, 2025
We are so honored you are willing to make a trip to be here for our special day! We also know that figuring out where to stay is messy and complicated, and you never know what you are going to get.
So...we made a list. There are certainly a ton of additional places to choose from, but this list includes AirBNB hosts we know and trust personally, and hotels that have a stellar reputation around here.
This one comes with a back story (Erik is rolling his eyes, because Jeremiah ALWAYS has a back story...). In 2012, Jeremiah opened a coffee shop, the very one you see in the picture of the listing. He sold it to a woman named Dawn, who had worked for him for nearly the entire time the coffee shop was opened.
She still owns it, and has expanded it to include a beautiful AirBNB above the shop. Be sure to check this one out, especially if you like great coffee and amazing baked goods every morning...they will literally be steps away!
Don't forget to let Dawn know you are in town for our wedding! She will tell you all the embarrassing stories on Jeremiah!
Dawn also has a studio available in the same building that is not yet listed on AirBNB. You can email her directly at greysquirrellofts@gmail.com for more information about the Studio.
This beautiful home is owned by Chris and Terri. They also own the building where the venue is (and just wait until you see how Erik is decorating this already incredible venue!)
Chris and Terri have both been visionary and instrumental in making Auburn what it is today, from launching programs that encourage entrepreneurship with high school students to helping make Auburn a more welcoming and accepting place for anyone who crosses it's border. And they have impeccable interior design taste, to boot!
Let them know you are here for our wedding and learn what it is they love so much about this amazing community!
This cute little apartment is Jama's. Whether they know it or not, her and her husband Thom have been two of Jeremiah's biggest cheerleaders over the years.
They are fun loving people who enjoy a good contest...just ask Jama about all of the "contests" she "wins" against her brother, a local jeweler. They have brought so much fun and laughter into the Auburn community over the years, and you will absolutely enjoy your stay.
Speaking of Jama's brother, he is the jeweler who resized Jeremiah's ring and designed and created Erik's ring! Let Jama know you are here for our wedding and ask about what kind of contests she gets into with her brother...you won't regret it!
This is the newest hotel in Auburn, and the service and experience is one of the best in town. They do not have a pool or hot tub...so this hotel is often full of business travelers and relatively quiet.

This is the second newest hotel in Auburn, and you know the saying: "Well...I'm not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night." So, you know you can't go wrong.
This hotel does have a pool (but no hot tub) and is great for families with kids looking for a relaxing space.
