You Got Questions?

We got answers...maybe. I mean...if you didn't ask the question, how are we supposed to know it needs answered?

We're kidding...kind of. We do need your help to know what kind of questions you have, and we've made that as easy as possible by making a fancy Contact Us form for you to fill out!

In the meantime, we've come up with four things we thought you might like to know about...so these first four are on us.

  1. Will there be alcohol?
    • There will be! However, we have made the decision to go with a cash bar for the evening. We are excited to share this time with everyone celebrating our commitment to each other, and our focus is on each other and you...our family and friends...not on the alcohol.

We also know there are different strokes for each of us, and we don't want to diminish anyone's preference for having a drink with dinner or a social drink...so we have opted for a cash bar. We believe this strikes the perfect balance.
  2. Since it is a cash bar, how much will drinks be?
    • Drink will be around $8 each and can be paid for at the bar when you order them.
  3. Is there a gift registry?
    • We do not have a gift registry. Frankly, we have way too much stuff and we don't need any more! 🤣

We also know that some of us show our thoughts and feelings through gifts..and we don't want to take that away from you. We have two options for you to consider:
      1. Make a donation, in our name, to a cause that is very near to our hearts: The Trevor Project
        • The Trevor Project provides 24/7 access to crisis counselors for LGBT+ young people. Check out their website to find out how you can donate or even volunteer!
      2. Help us fund our honeymoon! Check out our GoFundMe here: Go Fund Us!
        • We've been planning a little getaway to the great city of New Orleans! Erik has never been, and Jeremiah can't wait to show him all the amazing food and music the incredible city has to offer. But travel is expensive, especially right after purchasing a house! 😅
  4. What will the evening of Friday, February 28, 2025 be like?
    • Well...if you know anything about us, you know we are not traditional in any way! We will both be wearing suits, and the space will be beautifully decorated, but that is where tradition ends.

We will start the evening off with a cocktail hour (for you early birds), and then jump right into dinner. There will not be a formal ceremony (we will have already completed the legal aspect of getting married in front of a judge, or some other official).

After dinner (but before dessert...we aren't letting you off that easy), there will be a moment where we pause to let several people we have asked share a word or two about us (hopefully nothing too embarrasing), and then invite anyone who would like to share have a moment to speak.

After everyone has "complained" about us, we will get all serious again and share our commitments (think of them like vows) to each other. Then it will be time to get back to the food (Jeremiah is making the dessert!).

We are so excited to share this...very untraditional, but very intimate...moment of our lives with each of you!
